The Nokia N97 is more than just an upgraded Nokia N96. The slide-out QWERTY keyboard and refined touchscreen make the N97 its own model. With a built in GPS receiver along with the supplied Nokia Maps program, you can find your location, add geo-tags to photos and find directions to your final destination. Also included are multi media city guides and an actual compass feature as well. This will help on any outside activities where you need to know what direction to travel. A final touch is the voice activated driving software included for the GPS.

There are numerous applications available for download and many are free of charge for the Nokia N97. You can use Nokia’s Ovi store to download games, videos, other content, music and more that are compatible with the Symbian operating system.
